I travel to Houston for Past Life Regression 3 to 4 times a year to see clients interested in discovering more about previous lifetimes. Although some are not 100% sure, most of my Past Life Regression Houston clients have a belief in Reincarnation and many have read books on Past Life Regression by author Brian Weiss and Life Between Lives by Michael Newton. In order to have a successful session, it is important to at least be open to the possibility of Reincarnation, though most of my clients do believe. Some of the reasons people come in for a session include:
- A life-long fascination with a particular period in history.
- A feeling that they are living in the wrong time and do not belong in the present.
- Dreams set in the distant past that seem to real to be just a dream.
- A strong emotional bond to a friend or family member that is unexplainable.
- Fears and Phobias with no obvious cause.
- A desire to connect with spirit.
Although there are many Hypnotherapists in Houston, some of them are not open to Past Life Regression, so they do not offer this type of session. There are a limited number of qualified Past Life Regression Hypnotherapists in Texas as well as in Houston. The best choice for your Past Life Regression Houston session will be someone who has a background in Hypnotherapy as well as Past Life Regression.
It is important to do some research before you schedule your session because there are some instructors who allow anyone to study Past Life Regression, even without any prior training in hypnotherapy. Others have minimal requirements when it comes to hypnotherapy training and experience. Michael Newton’s organization, The Newton Institute, has strict requirements in order to qualify to take the Life Between Lives training. These requirements include training and 2 years experience working as a hypnotherapist as well as that include training and experience in Past Life Regression before the prospective student qualifies to learn the Life Between lives process.
Past Life Regression and Life Between Lives are advanced topics and should only be taught to someone with a background in hypnotherapy. Be sure to do your homework before you select a Past Life Regression Therapist. Ask questions about their experience as well as their training. When I teach Past Life Regression, I require a background in Hypnotherapy, though as mentioned above some teachers require no previous Hypnotherapy Training to take their Past Life Regression Training.
There are some people who have only studied Past Life Regression yet have no additional training in Hypnotherapy, and in most cases it is a good idea to avoid these people. There is always the potential for unexpected situations to occur, and working with a qualified Hypnotherapist will insure your session is a safe one.
